With all eyes on him in his sophomore season, Lewis has gone on to top over 2,000 passing yards in 10 games this season. The standout campaign has even included a near perfect passing ratio with his recent three-touchdown effort raising his totals to 34 on the year, to go along with just one interception. Expectations of topping his stats from a season ago proved to be a challenging task, but Lewis showed that the work from his freshman season was no fluke.聽聽

The most impressive part of the 15-year-old鈥檚 resume may just be the fact he鈥檚 eclipsed the numbers with some added responsibilities. Lewis has been active in the high school NIL space, gracing the front of Sports Illustrated as the youngest football cover athlete in the magazine鈥檚 history. Add that in with his recent partnership with Leaf Trading Cards, and commitment to USC back in August, and you can see just how busy the star high school sophomore has become.聽

鈥淎 little bit, [but] not really though,鈥 Lewis said following last November when asked whether he鈥檚 had to adjust to the spotlight. 鈥淓verything in Carrollton helps keep you humble and holds you accountable. I鈥檓 a regular kid at the end of the day.鈥
While the extra work has certainly added to his growing schedule, Lewis鈥 focus remains on his team鈥檚 upcoming opportunities. Wrapping up their regular season schedule this past Friday, the Trojans set their sights on their playoff opening heading into postseason action with an impressive 9-1 record.
As Lewis inches closer to reaching his marks from a season ago, his recent campaign only adds to the hype that continues to follow him. With a dynamic Carrollton group around him, there seems to be plenty left in store.
