The 3-3 Buccaneers are still in the thick of the NFC South race but their Week 7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons might have them re-thinking their direction. Evans gave Tampa Bay a deadline to reach a contract extension before the season and when that wasn’t met, it left the door open for a team in win-now mode to make a mid-season trade. The 30-year-old wide receiver is in the last year of his current deal and has nine consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. Evans is on pace for his 10th straight campaign of 1,000-plus yards and could very well unlock a new level of the Cowboys’ passing attack.Â
