Klay Thompson, Warriors at ‘dead point’; Top 5 landing spots
4. Los Angeles Lakers
If Thompson does end up leaving Golden State, he’ll almost assuredly want to play on a team with legitimate championship aspirations. The Lakers, led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, would be just that and more with the sharpshooting of Thompson involved. The best complement to James throughout his career has been a knockdown shooter and although Thompson would likely play against his former team more than he’d like to, his best chance for another ring might be in Los Angeles.
