Ranking college football’s top 10 transfers so far in 2023
8. Haynes King, QB, Georgia Tech
King came to the Yellow Jackets under the radar much like Castellanos did at Boston College, however his impact has been center stage ever since. The Texas A&M transfer has led Georgia Tech to a 3-3 record so far including a clutch walk-off win over No. 17 Miami in Week 6.
So far this season, King has accumulated 1,631 passing yards, 16 passing touchdowns and six interceptions with 222 rushing yards and two more scores for the Yellow Jackets. His 18 total touchdowns are tied with Uigalelei for ninth in the FBS while his passing yards rank No. 21.
