Rowan women鈥檚 cross country takes off at Dickinson Long/Short Invitational
NEWVILLE, Pa. — Rowan had competitors in both the 6k and 4k races at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational on Saturday.
FINAL RESULTS
In the 6k race, the Profs finished eighth (191 points), while in the 4k race, Rowan was 16th overall (178 points).
Mia Guerra placed 14th (22:57.6) in the 6k race for top Prof honors. Anna Sasse took 25th (23:25.9) with Ally Wernik in 37th (23:48.9), Amanda McNally in 60th (24:30.7), Abbey Churchill in 64th (24:44.1), Gabriella Pagano in 71st (25:05.7), and Cammy Wright in 72nd (25:11.6) to account the scoring for the 11 total Rowan competitors.
Hailey Erickson of Calvin was the winner (22:08.7) of the of the 6k race as the Knights were the team champions.
The 4k race featured four Profs in action. Maggie Michelet was 56th (16:23.3), Ava Rizzo was 93rd (17:11.9), Anna Dougherty was 108th (18:07.8), and Jenna Spadaro was 124th (18:51.8).
Washington & Lee’s Elise Molinaro was first as the Generals won the 4k course.
Dickinson is also the site for this year’s NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship on Saturday, November 18th.
Next up for the team is the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University, taking place next Saturday, September 30th.
