Returning back to Milwaukee seems like the easiest choice of all for the team鈥檚 current manager after yet another year where it gets set to make the playoffs. Counsell has done a solid job managing a Brewers鈥� bullpen that has consistently created up-and-coming arms over the years. After moving on from Josh Hader, the Brewers were quick to put Devin Williams in the closing role while a host of new young pitchers began to work their way up through the ranks. With the team鈥檚 starting staff still dominating throughout the 2023 campaign, Milwaukee remains a solid option for Counsell heading forward.
