5. Justin Herbert
Herbert is right in the mix of the great, young QBs in today鈥檚 game and there is no reason to expect a dropoff from him. The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback broke almost every rookie QB record in 2020 and has not slowed down since then. Herbert has already eclipsed 15,000 total yards in his fourth season and he is creeping up on 100 career passing touchdowns.
The massive contract extension that Herbert just signed will expire following the 2029 season, but barring anything unforeseen, he will likely have a new extension with the Chargers by then. Herbert will be 32 in 2030.
