The Vikings released Dalvin Cook after four consecutive Pro Bowl seasons and now have Alexander Mattison as the starting running back, but he鈥檚 underperformed with only 62 rushing yards. Minnesota also has Ty Chandler and Myles Gaskin as backups, but adding Akers could help take the pressure off Mattison and jumpstart the Vikings鈥� running game.聽
