Top 10 Pennsylvania defensive players for 2023 HS football season
9. Cameron Lindsey, Sr., Aliquippa
Aliquippa has made state championship game appearances each of the past two seasons and a big reason why is Lindsey. While he is a threat lining up all over the Quips’ offense at running back, fullback or tight end, Lindsey’s best play tends to come on the defensive side of the ball at linebacker. Last year, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound standout made 100 total tackles while also forcing three fumbles as he earned all-state honors for the second consecutive season. There’s no reason to believe Lindsey won’t be an all-state linebacker for a third straight year this fall as he looks to lead Aliquippa back to state before he stays home to play in college at Pittsburgh.
