Burke left his mark as a rusher for the Blue Devils last fall. Burke carried the ball 162 times for 1,605 yards and 20 touchdowns while catching 31 passes for 367 yards and four additional scores for his 10-2 Moody squad that made it to the second round of the Class 5A playoffs.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound rusher has earned high marks from recruiting services including being ranked the No. 105 overall prospect in Alabama鈥檚 senior class by . With his success on the gridiron, Burke earned scholarship offers from eight programs including Louisville, Minnesota, UAB and West Virginia, but he ultimately committed to Arkansas State.
