Top 10 Illinois RBs for 2023 high school football season
5. Dominik Ball, Sr., Palatine
An 8A first-team all-state running back as a junior, Ball helped Palatine to a 10-2 record in 2022 and an appearance in the state quarterfinals. Featuring as a large part of the Pirates’ offense with 168 carries on the season, Ball would go on to rush for 1,390 yards and 16 touchdowns. The 5-foot-9 senior back will look to replicate his rushing and receiving work from a season ago, with a commitment to play for the Tulane Green Wave waiting for him after his senior year.Â
