Top 10 Pennsylvania QBs for 2023 high school football season
1. Stone Saunders, Jr., Bishop McDevitt
Saunders is not only coming off of a sophomore season in which he led Bishop McDevitt to a PIAA Class 4A championship, but also a campaign in which he was arguably the best player on the field in Pennsylvania, earning the state鈥檚 Gatorade Player of the Year award, and Pennsylvania鈥檚 Mr. Football award for Class 4A-6A. He was also named a MaxPreps All-American for the second consecutive year.聽Last fall, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound signal caller threw for an impressive 3,583 yards and 54 touchdowns for the 13-1 Crusaders, with a record five touchdown passes in the state title game. Throwing to an elite wide receiver in Alabama commit Rico Scott, Saunders will seek a couple more state championships before he himself plays in the SEC with Kentucky.
