6. Ashton Levi, Sr., Bogalusa
Another senior signal caller, Levi had one of the better statistical seasons in the Boot last year. During his junior campaign, Levi threw for 2,127 yards, 23 touchdowns and just four interceptions while rushing for 318 yards and eight more scores. His performance not only helped lead his Lumberjacks team to an 8-2 record and a spot in the Division III Non-Select playoffs but also earned him first-team all-state honors from the .
Unfortunately, this play hasn鈥檛 yet translated to offers for the 6-foot, 200-pound quarterback. Currently, Levi鈥檚 lone offer comes from John Melvin University, a program that hopes to join NAIA in a year. Other than his offer from John Melvin, Levi also has received interest from Houston, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi and Tulane among others. With another all-state performance, perhaps Levi could increase his offers list this fall.
