Top 10 Louisiana QBs for 2023 high school football season
8. Luke Delafield, So., North DeSoto
The youngest entry on this list, Delafield looked the part of an experienced veteran despite being a freshman last fall. Despite his youth, Delafield was exceptional as he threw for 2,516 yards, 38 touchdowns and 15 interceptions with two more rushing scores for a 12-2 Griffins team that made it to the Division II Non-Select state championship game.
Though he鈥檚 still an underclassman, Delafield has already received some attention from college programs with offers from Northwestern State and the University of Louisiana-Monroe. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound signal caller will look to prove his introductory season was not a flash in the pan this fall.
