5. Ryken Daugaard, Sr., Lutheran
The Lutheran Lions have seen success over the past few seasons but it was elevated to new heights with Daugaard under center. The 6-2 first-year starter threw for 2,585 yards and 27 touchdowns during the 2022 season en route to a CHSAA Class 3A championship appearance. Throwing only nine picks in the 12 games he appeared in, Daugaard earned himself first-team all-conference and all-state honors as a junior. Lutheran football鈥檚 expectations will be high having just one season left with Daugaard in the huddle.
