While the rising passing attack was a plus for the Jaguars in 2022, Hawkins’ ability to create with his legs proved to be an added benefit in the team’s 7-4 season, as the TCU commit picked up an additional 920 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. With a chance to build on the campaign, the 2022 Texas District 28-6A overall MVP has become a target for Johnson鈥檚 opposition in 2023.
