The Hitchcock star was honored as a Texas District 12-3A D-I first-team selection at both quarterback and defensive back as a sophomore, showing why he鈥檚 become one of the state鈥檚 top playmakers on either side of the ball. Throwing for 2,836 yards and 36 touchdowns, Jones proved he could take care of the football in the team鈥檚 11-2 campaign, tossing just one interception throughout the 2022 season. While his work through the air provided much of the spark for the Bulldogs鈥� offense last year, his nearly 450 rushing yards and eight touchdowns point to an even bigger rushing opportunity heading forward.
