8. Brady Carmical, Jr., Briar Woods
Another member of the Class of 2025, Carmical helped his Falcons program completely turn around during his first season under center, leading the team to a 7-4 record one year after they finished just 1-9. As the starting quarterback, Carmical finished the year with 1,739 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 255 yards and two more scores. His 1,994 total yards ranked No. 22 in the state and for his efforts, Carmical was named first-team quarterback.
Following his stellar sophomore year, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound signal caller has begun to gain traction in recruiting circles, being invited to numerous camps and going on a number of unofficial visits. In December, Carmical also earned his first D-I offer from FCS Houston Christian which could open the floodgates for more offers in the future.
