After an 0-3 start to last season, the Bears rattled off 13 straight wins to win their second consecutive 5A Division 2 state title. South Oak Cliff will welcome back its leading passer (William Little, 1,033 yards, eight touchdowns), leading rusher (Danny Green Jr., 1,193 yards, 14 touchdowns) and leading tackler (Brandon Jones, 199 total tackles) from last season. The Bears hope to bring their momentum from last year鈥檚 state championship run into 2023.
