Almost three years ago, McComb and his family moved to Oklahoma from California, and he decided to play for Edmond Memorial. His impact was felt during his sophomore season when he passed for 1,488 yards, completed 61% of his throws and ended 2022 with 14 total TDs (11 passing and three rushing).
