4. Brendan Zurbrugg, Sr., Alliance
Like several of the senior quarterbacks on this list, Zurbrugg brings plenty of experience into 2023, but also some impressive Division I-level talent that will be on full display at Alliance throughout the fall. A lethal dual-threat quarterback who is also a talented basketball star at Alliance, Zurburgg ran for 804 yards and 11 touchdowns last season on top of his 2,184 yards and 23 touchdowns passing. He also had a staggering 76% completion rate as he led the Aviators to a solid 8-3 season. After previously pledging to Syracuse and later Northwestern, the 6-foot-4, 185-pound signal caller recently committed to Oklahoma on Aug. 1, and will have the chance to play SEC football as soon as 2024.
