Bussey sticks out at the Class 2A level, putting up monster production as a dual-threat quarterback with 2,000-plus passing yards and 2,500-plus rushing yards. The Timpson quarterback and cornerback totaled over 70 total touchdowns as a junior, and was named the Texas District 11-2A D-I Overall MVP in 2022. While Bussey has been recruited as an athlete, the Mr. Texas Football player has become an integral part of the Bears鈥� efforts, proving to be a dynamic playmaker wherever he has been lined up at. With another year to add to his significant totals, Bussey has the chance to do even more damage in his final season.
