7. Kobe Black, CB, Connally
One of the top-ranked cornerbacks in the nation, the Connally ballhawk left an impression on his Cadets鈥� opponents, breaking up nine passes to go along with 21 tackles, two interceptions and two tackles for a loss in 2022. With teams opting to throw away from him in coverage, Black was still able to make an impact in both the passing and run game for the Cadets鈥� defense. With most looking at Black鈥檚 ability on that side of the ball, the Connally senior still found a groove on offense as a junior, racking up over 300 yards rushing and receiving with 11 total touchdowns.
