Top 10 Indiana QBs for 2023 high school football season
3. Jackson Willis, Jr., Indianapolis Lutheran
Willis may be overlooked by some due to playing at the Class 1A level, but what he did at Indianapolis Lutheran last year as just a sophomore was incredibly impressive. Not only did he help his team capture a state championship with a perfect 15-0 record, but Willis etched his name into the IHSAA record books, becoming just the fifth quarterback to throw for 4,000 yards in a season with 4,169 yards in total. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound lefty also threw a staggering 55 touchdowns with just six interceptions, completing 70.5% of his passes. Still uncommitted, Willis will focus on repeating his historic 2022 season as a junior while extending the Saints’ current 30-game winning streak.
Drop in the bucket! to on 3rd and long in a 7-7 game, late in the 3rd quarter.
