2. Jake Schakel, Sr., Emerald Ridge 

Schakel led the ´³²¹²µ³Ü²¹°ù²õ’ upset over Chiawana, but he also had an impressive junior season where he passed for 3,287 yards, 37 touchdowns and posted a QB rating of 123.4. That led to offers from Colorado State, Eastern Washington, Florida Atlantic and Nevada, and in July, he decided to commit to Eastern Washington. As the 2023 season approaches, he’s someone to keep an eye on after Emerald Ridge fell one game short of the state championship game.
