4. Cru Newman, QB, Central Catholic聽

Newman led Central Catholic to its second straight state title, throwing for over 2,500 yards and 37 touchdowns as a sophomore. This past season as a junior, Newman threw for 2,333 yards, 26 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He was a second-team all-state selection but the Rams fell short of a third state championship, losing in the state semifinals. Newman enters his senior season as one of the best quarterbacks in the state.聽
