Surace has thrown for more than 1,500 yards in each of his last two seasons at Notre Dame. The Rutgers commit threw for 1,737 yards and 21 touchdowns last season as a junior. Surace has one more season to help the Irish have a deep playoff run before he becomes a Scarlet Knight.聽
