Top 10 Missouri HS football players in Class of 2024
1. Williams Nwaneri, DE, Lee鈥檚 Summit North
The unanimous top player in the state鈥檚 senior class, Nwaneri was one of the most dominant defenders in Missouri last year. During his junior season, Nwaneri recorded 56 total tackles, 12 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and six pass deflections for the state runner-up Broncos squad. His play not only earned Nwaneri first-team all-state honors but he was also named Class 6A co-defensive player of the year.
As a consensus five-star player and top-15 player nationally, Nwaneri has earned offers from nearly every major program including Alabama, Colorado, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas. He has made five official visits to Georgia, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee, thus he may be narrowing his list in the near future.
