7. Xavier Williams, RB, Lake Central
Williams enters the 2023 season as one of the top running backs in the Hoosier State, and one of the top offensive playmakers overall in Indiana鈥檚 2024 class. An athletic, shifty and powerful running back thanks to his 6-foot, 220-pound frame, Williams is tough to bring down, and proved so last year as he carried the ball 223 times for Lake Central, producing 1,451 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 6.5 yards per carry. Following the season, Williams鈥� recruiting began to heat up, and in April, the three-star prospect committed to Iowa where he will look to continue his success with the Hawkeyes following his senior year at Lake Central.
