Bentancur enters his upcoming senior season as not only one of the top players in Illinois, but one of the top 10 tight ends in all of the country. With the production to back it up, the Marian Central tight end has shown just how dominant he can be in the passing game, finishing his junior campaign with 57 catches for 1,085 yards and 11 touchdowns. While the Hurricanes鈥� rare 3-7 record from a season ago left a sour taste in the mouth of聽 Bentancur and his teammates, the star senior pass catcher could prove to be the spark behind a potential flip in the standings for 2023.
