Grant Gunnell is the all-time passing yards leader in Texas high school football history. He recorded 16,108 passing yards at St. Pius X High School (Houston) between 2015-18, according to statistics from The only person to come remotely close was Hunter Lile, who completed his senior season at Booker High School with 14,408 passing yards in 2014.聽
Gunnell also holds the Texas high school record for most (195). Right behind him is Travis Quintanilla, who completed his senior season at Refugio High School in 2013 with 184 TD.聽
