Top 10 North Carolina QBs for 2023 HS football season
6. Tyler Budge, Sr., Weddington
With a full chance to run the Warriors鈥 offense in 2022, the Weddington quarterback was up for the challenge, helping his team to a 13-2 record on the year and a NCHSAA Class 4A West regional championship appearance. While the season came to an end just two wins short of a state title, Budge impressed throughout the year passing for 3,219 yards and 34 touchdowns. With another 258 yards and four touchdowns coming on the ground, Budge and his Warriors teammates have shown just how capable they are of a playoff run as they look to repeat the effort.
