A chance to start this past season came with an impressive resume for the Apex two-sport star who propelled the Cougars鈥� offense behind 2,685 passing yards and 24 touchdowns during his junior campaign. With Klingemann tacking on another 450 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground, Apex enjoyed a 10-2 record and a near top-seed upset as the No. 16 seed in the 4A playoffs.
