6. Chance Kretschmer, Tonopah (1996-99)
Kretschmer had quite a high school career. He’s one of six players in state history to top 5,000 yards rushing. He posted 5,021 yards rushing in all. The 6-foot, 220-pounder carried that success over to the University of Nevada. In 2001, Kretschmer led the NCAA in rushing with 1,732 yards.
