5. Ca鈥橪il Valentine, RB, Chandler
Speed is the name of Valentine鈥檚 game and he has plenty of it. His blazing 100-meter time of 10.80 is an example of that and so too are the 1,347 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns he accounted for last season. The 6-foot, 180-pound running back averaged 134 rushing yards per game, had seven 100-plus rushing yard games and even added 395 yards and another five scores through the air as a junior. Valentine picked up offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Miami, Oregon and others but the committed to Illinois in June.
