Ranking the 2023 SEC QBs: Who鈥檚 best in the top conference?
10. Carson Beck, Georgia
Beck is more impressive from a physical standpoint than Bennett is, but he does not bring the same type of mobility and football IQ to the Bulldogs’ offense. Beck was a top-five pro-style QB in his recruiting class according to , but he still needs to go out and prove he can play in the Southeastern Conference.
The QB position is probably the biggest question mark on the Georgia roster, but it is not for the lack of talent. Beck, Brock Vandagriff and Gunner Stockton were all coveted recruits and they have two more coming in the 2024 recruiting class in Dylan Raiola and Ryan Puglisi. It will be fascinating to see how that room plays out in the next few years.
Carson Beck had one of the most impressive spring games of 2023. He鈥檚 a pretty advanced passer imo that has a solid feel for the pocket despite minimal experience. UGA went good on good and he carved up the 1s going 18/22.
