Ranking the 2023 SEC QBs: Who鈥檚 best in the top conference?
6. Spencer Sanders, Ole Miss
No one has a deeper quarterback room in the country than Lane Kiffin. Jaxson Dart looked solid last year, yet Ole Miss still went out and grabbed two premier QBs from the transfer portal in Sanders from Oklahoma State and Walker Howard from LSU. Each of the three would probably be at least average quarterbacks in the conference.
Any of them could start for the Rebels, but Sanders is the most experienced and is simply the best quarterback on the roster. A four-year starter for the Cowboys, Sanders threw for over 9,500 yards with 67 touchdowns for Oklahoma State. Do not be surprised if he is near the top of the majority of statistical categories at the end of the season.
