Luke Hill enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots
3. Stanford
SEC teams dominate this list, but should Hill look to stay in the Pac-12, his next home could very well be Stanford. The Cardinal are coming off a strong 2023 season in which they went 44-20 and made another College World Series appearance. One of the big reasons why was the bat and glove of infielder Tommy Troy who was selected 12th overall in the 2023 MLB Draft. That leaves a big hole in the Stanford infield that could be filled by Hill, someone who Stanford is familiar with from Pac-12 play as he racked up a hit in each game ASU had against the Cardinal this past season.
