Montgomery is a native of Madison, Mississippi, and returning home would logically be appealing. The Rebels did not have a great year, but do not be fooled, Ole Miss is still a very serious program that should expect to bounce right back in 2024. He could be a natural replacement for Kemp Alderman in the outfield.
