1. Sage Surratt, East Lincoln/Lincolnton (2013-16)
Sage Surratt, much like his older brother Chazz, dominated football fields throughout North Carolina during his high school career. Sage is the state record holder for career receptions, receiving yardage and touchdown receptions with 366 receptions, 5,926 yards and 80 touchdowns, respectively. A dominant force with both the Mustangs and the Wolves, Sage earned a and a scholarship to Wake Forest.
Sage played two seasons for the Demon Deacons, recording 107 catches for 1,582 yards and 15 touchdowns. After going unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft, Sage signed as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions before signing with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2022. In February, he signed with the USFL鈥檚 New Orleans Breakers and 552 yards and one score for the squad this season.
