Top 10 all-time leading rushers in California HS football
3. Lorenzo Booker
One of the more accomplished backs on the list, Booker would kick off his run to the NFL back at St. Bonaventure where the Southern California native rushed for 8,502 career yards. From 1999-2001, Booker saw the bulk of his totals come during his junior and senior seasons, posting a 3,000-yard plus campaign in 2000, while following it up with just over 2,800 rushing yards a year later. The No. 2 overall player in the Class of 2002 would parlay his high success into an opportunity at Florida State and eventually the NFL.
