The Ventura running back was known for his big-game efforts, stemming from a 330-yard, four-touchdown performance in his senior season opener and a 276-yard showing in the CIF-Southern Section Division IV championship game. With 7,385 rushing yards in total throughout his career, Ebell鈥檚 final campaign would become his peak as the Cougars鈥� star totaled 4,494 yards rushing and 64 touchdowns. Ebell would kick off his CFL career after three seasons at UCLA and an eventual transfer to UTEP for his final season.聽
