5. Mario Gobbato, Blaine (2010-12)聽
Gobbato had 480 rushing yards in the last game of his high school career and finished with 2,821 rushing yards for his senior season. That season, accounted for almost half of his career yards and is still one of the best single-season performances by a running back in Washington high school football history. The Blaine running back finished with 5,958 yards for his career and went on to play football at Montana State University Northern.
In 2012 Mario Gobbato ran for a state-record 480 yards in Blaine's 50-20 win against Bothell's Cedar Park Christian School. That big game also gave him the record of 2,821 rushing yards in a season.
