Top 10 all-time leading passers in New York HS football
1. Greg Paulus, Syracuse CBA (2001-04)
Paulus was truly a special athlete. He threw for a state record 11,760 yards in high school, a record that no one has come close to touching, yet he was heavily recruited for another sport. Paulus was one of the best basketball recruits in the entire country and ultimately wound up at Duke. He led the Blue Devils in scoring as a junior, but after four seasons of playing basketball there, he opted to try his hand at college football at Syracuse University. He started for the Orange and threw for over 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns.聽
Paulus is now the head basketball coach of Niagara University.
