5. Jake Plummer, QB (1997-2006)
The Boise native came out of Capital High School. “Jake the Snake” saw success in college with the Arizona State Sun Devils. He was voted the 1996 Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year. The 6-foot-2, 212-pound Plummer got picked by the Arizona Cardinals as a second-rounder in the 1997 NFL Draft. He rewarded them by making the 1997 NFL All-Rookie team. Plummer also earned a Pro Bowl bid with the Denver Broncos in 2005.
