6.聽 Marty Simmons, Lawrenceville (1980-83)
Simmons starred at Lawrenceville in the early 80s. He was voted Illinois’ Mr. Basketball in 1983. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder on a 68-game winning streak. Simmons logged 2,986 points over his high school career. In 2021, he as head coach at Eastern Illinois University.
