8. Rennie Clemons, Springfield Calvary (1987-90)
Clemons was one of the top scoring guards in state history. The 6-footer would finish with 2,932 points at Springfield Calvary High School. He joined the University of Illinois team in 1990. He ranked among the Big Ten leaders in steals from 1990 to 1993. Clemons was a steady contributor, chipping in about 13 points per game over his college career.
