Lawrence鈥檚 well-documented run at the high school level led to one of the most decorated careers in prep history as the Cartersville star totaled 13,902 passing yards and 161 touchdowns. After starting for the program as a freshman, the former five-star recruit would go on to lead the Purple Hurricanes to 41 straight victories and two state championships from his sophomore year to his senior season. Lawrence would eventually commit to Clemson as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2018, creating a meteoric rise in the game over the following years.
