6. John Carney, K (1988-2010)
The Hartford-born placekicker had the longest NFL career of players from Connecticut. Carney logged a quarter century as a kicker in the NFL. At 302 games played, he’s tied for tenth in league history with ex-Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre. Carney was voted a first-team All-Pro in 1994. Plus he made two Pro Bowls over the course of his career.
