6. Colt McCoy, QB (2010-2022)
Daniel “Colt” McCoy made his name at the University of Texas in Austin. He was a two-time consensus All-American. In 2009, he won a slew of awards, including the Davey O’Brien Award, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. McCoy was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as a No. 3 pick in 2010. The 6-foot-1 field general is from Hobbs in southeast New Mexico.
